Oklahoma City — Paycom founder and CEO Chad Richison has acquired 121 acres of land in north Oklahoma City. Richison plans to use 10 acres on which to build a new corporate headquarters for his web-based payroll processing company Paycom.

Groundbreaking is expected within the next six to eight months at the new site located on the north side of Memorial Road between Rockwell and Council. Currently located at Northwest Expressway and 63rd Street, Paycom’s Oklahoma City office is the corporate headquarters where payroll processing is done for customers across the U.S.

“Paycom is continuing to experience exponential growth. As one of the fastest growing payroll companies in the country, our staffing needs, and the space to accommodate them, must keep up with our growing customer base,” said Richison.
“We’re proud to be an Oklahoma-based company, and I feel fortunate to be able to invest in the development of this  northwest section of Oklahoma City.”

In 2006 Paycom was no. 156 on the Inc. 500’s list of the fastest growing private companies in the U.S. and was named Service Bureau of the Year by the Independent Payroll Providers Association for above average client and revenue growth and a customer retention rate of 99 percent.

Paycom’s web-based system provides customers an integrated solution for payroll processing, HR information management, time and attendance and COBRA administration.
